Profile Setup

Configure your user profile to personalize your IDI Fly Dashboard experience.

Profile Information

Basic Details

Your profile includes the following information:

Field Description
First Name Your first name
Last Name Your last name
Email Your registered email address (cannot be changed)
Phone Contact phone number (optional)
Organization Your organization name
Role Your assigned role within the system

Setting Up Your Profile

Initial Setup (Invited Users)

When you first join through an invitation:

  1. Accept the End User License Agreement
  2. Create your password
  3. Complete the profile form:
    • Enter your first and last name
    • Add an optional phone number
    • Upload a profile photo (optional)
  4. Click Complete Setup

Editing Your Profile

To update your profile information:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select Profile or navigate to the Overview page
  3. Update your information
  4. Click Save Changes

Adding a Photo

  1. Navigate to your profile settings
  2. Click on the profile photo area or Change Photo
  3. Select an image file from your device
  4. Adjust the crop area if needed
  5. Click Save

Photo Requirements

  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG
  • Maximum file size: 5MB
  • Recommended dimensions: 200x200 pixels or larger

Organization Information

Your organization details are managed by your administrator and include:

  • Organization Name - Your company or team name
  • Organization ID - Unique identifier for API access
  • Subscription - Current plan and features

User Roles

Your role determines what features you can access:

Role Permissions
Viewer View flights, analytics, and media
Pilot All Viewer permissions + control aircraft
Manager All Pilot permissions + manage users and settings
Admin Full system access including administrative functions

Contact your administrator to request a role change.

Configure how you receive notifications:

  • Email notifications
  • In-app notifications
  • Alert preferences

Display Settings

  • Theme preferences
  • Dashboard layout options
  • Map display settings

Troubleshooting

Cannot Save Profile Changes

  • Ensure all required fields are filled
  • Check for validation errors
  • Refresh the page and try again

Profile Photo Not Uploading

  • Verify file size is under 5MB
  • Ensure file format is JPG or PNG
  • Try a different browser

Missing Permissions

If you can’t access certain features:

  • Verify your assigned role
  • Contact your administrator for permission updates
