Profile Overview

The Profile Overview is your home dashboard, providing quick access to all IDI Fly Dashboard features and displaying your account information.

Dashboard Layout

Main Sections

The overview page displays:

  • User Profile - Your name, role, and organization
  • Quick Statistics - Summary of recent activity
  • Navigation Cards - Quick access to main features
  • Recent Activity - Latest flights and events

Quick Statistics

The dashboard shows at-a-glance metrics:

Metric Description
Total Flights Number of flights completed
Flight Hours Cumulative flight time
Active Devices Currently connected drones
Team Members Users in your organization

Quick access cards provide one-click navigation to:

Fly Dashboard

Access real-time flight control and monitoring.

Mission Planning

Create and manage automated missions.

Analytics

View detailed flight statistics and reports.

Flight Story

Review historical flights with playback.

Media Management

Browse and organize captured media.

Settings

Manage your account and preferences.

User Profile Section

Your profile section displays:

  • Profile Photo - Your avatar or default icon
  • Name - Your full name
  • Email - Registered email address
  • Role - Your assigned permission level
  • Organization - Your company or team name

Edit Profile

Click Edit Profile to:

  • Update your name
  • Change your profile photo
  • Modify notification preferences

Recent Activity

The activity feed shows:

  • Recent flights with date, duration, and aircraft
  • System notifications
  • Team activity (if permitted by role)

Activity Details

Click on any activity item to:

  • View detailed information
  • Navigate to related features (e.g., flight playback)
  • Access associated media

Quick Actions

Available actions from the overview:

Action Description
Start New Flight Go to Fly Dashboard with a selected device
Create Mission Open Mission Planning
View Analytics Open Analytics dashboard
Manage Devices Configure device settings

Notifications

The notification bell indicates:

  • New system messages
  • Flight alerts
  • Team invitations
  • Software updates

Click the bell icon to view and manage notifications.

Customization

You can customize your overview:

  • Reorder dashboard cards (drag and drop)
  • Hide/show specific sections
  • Set default view preferences

Settings are saved to your profile and persist across sessions.
